“In it’s simplest form, VIVA means ‘to live’.”
Simon Hall, Director & Brand Consultant
In it’s simplest form, VIVA means ‘to live’. And it’s this meaning that’s centric to who we are and what we do. To live, for us, is to be all that you can be. And to be all you can be, you need to grow through inviting change.
Over the past year, we’ve done exactly that and taken on a slightly different project – ourselves. In the same way in which we guide those we work with, we’ve redefined our purpose, refreshed our identity and rejuvenated our processes to be the best VIVA we can be. After all, there’s no better way to engage with our methods than to go through them ourselves.
At the very core of any brand is ultimately a purpose. At VIVA, we’ve always known that we exist to bring about organisational improvements in a range of ways. To encapsulate this– we design change. But what does change look like? And what drives it?
By exploring these questions, we reinforce what we already know – that change is vital. Recognising the opportunities and threats that surround each of us allows us to then seek the solutions that move us forwards. Change is such a crucial component to aid growth and success that we symbolize it within our name. The delta symbol replacing the ‘A’ means change, and its inclusion makes VIVA more than a name, it brings a word that means life, to life.
True to our ethos, we keep brand at the core of our own change. As a part of this process, we held an invigorating workshop session in Madrid to immerse ourselves in our new brand. And to showcase all that we’re about.
We’ve shifted focus from design-related change to brand-led consultancy, extensively exploring the very centre of every business we work with. Crafting change for people in a wider range of areas with an emphasis on behaviour and culture alongside the aesthetic elements. We’re inviting you to join us as we move forwards, ever inviting change and being all that we can be.
