Changing the perception of energy management
Developing the future of football
Scout7 provide professionals within the football industry with valuable information and innovative tools to keep them in the know when it comes to the beautiful game.
Their products are aimed at football scouts, giving them access to a global database of players, as well as the ability to pinpoint video footage from particular games, manage private player report information and look after the development of an existing squad. They offer these services within three products that can be managed by one integrated application.
In a multi-million pound industry, data and strategy are sought after tools. Scout7 are not the only company operating within this realm and so staying on top of the competition is a real, continuing focus.
With new businesses frequently popping up around them, Scout7 had to think carefully about their position in the market. As well as remembering: first impressions count.
First impressions are vital. So the way that Scout7 is positioned is of very high importance in an environment where they need to be noticed. Furthermore, operating in an environment that is full of content, we had to make them stand out visually.
The insight phase of our process is crucial to uncovering the true purpose of a brand. With Scout7, we discovered a significant advantage over their competitors, in the shape of far superior technology. And so their purpose is to utilise their access to such innovative methods to become the go-to name in the industry.
‘Developing the future of football’ is about leading the way. Scout7 needed and identity to echo that purpose, and to showcase the quality of their tools. Crafting a new identity was simply about getting people to sit up and take notice of what Scout7 were already able to deliver.
The key commercial driver(s) behind the Scout7 engagement was retention of existing business and acquisition of new clients. Therefore, in order to support the sales process, we worked with the sales team to understand their sales cycles, so that sales support communications could be developed.
The main support driver was the re-design of the Scout7 website, to act as a hub for prospects to engage with the brand. Additionally, digital and social media communications were implemented to drive awareness around the brand’s repositioning and enhanced product offering.
“WE HAVE ALWAYS HAD THE KNOWLEDGE AND TECHNOLOGY TO DELIVER WITHIN THE INDUSTRY, BUT WE NEEDED TO CAPTURE PEOPLE’S ATTENTION. WITH THE MARKET BECOMING MORE SATURATED, A STRONG, INTEGRATED BRAND WOULD HELP US TO CEMENT OUR STATUS, AND THAT’S WHAT VIVA DELIVERED.”
